About Our Mustang Club

Founded in April 2006

While we call Asheville home, the Blue Ridge Mustang Club covers western North Carolina, stretching from South Carolina to East Tennessee. We are passionate about the Ford Mustang, and our members own Mustangs from all generations. By being active in community events, regional car shows, leisurely mountain drives, and group gatherings, we provide our Club Members with numerous opportunities to enjoy their Mustang ownership. 


Additionally, we've proudly been a charter member of the Mustang Club of America since March 20, 2008, solidifying our place as a premier car club in Asheville.

RAY GRIFFITHS

Originally from the Bronx, ray has had an interest in cars since youth. Visited the World Fair in 1964 and seen the first mustang. Following his father foot steps Ray worked at the Ford Mahwaw Assembly plant. Having owned 4 mustangs Ray currently has a 89 white 25th anniv. edition. Ray is the supervisor for the United way

Born and raised here in Asheville, met and married her husband, Jim 1987, Retired from Hospice care and mental health services. Tammy and Jim have owned five mustangs including their current two, a 08 Roush Stage 1 and a 67 GTA

DAVE BECK

Originally from South Florida and arrived in Asheville in 1979. Has had an interest in cars since he was 12 years old (1964). The Becks have a Pristine 1993 LX 5.0 convertible with the Rare distinction of being 1 of 6 in the world with Red, Blue, and White Medallions

Originally from Milwaukee. Jim served in the US Navy for 6 years. for the next several years he was was involved in the printing business culminating in a corporate career with International Paper. His love for cars began with a 59 Chevy Impala, He currently owns both a 2014 and 2025 Mustang

Originally from Fort Lauderdale FL and now lives in Candler NC. Proudly Owns a 67 Hardtop painted in Calypso Green. Previously a Safety inspector for the NC Dept. of Labor maintaining elevators and State fair rides. has been a sustaining member since 2007

Born and raised in Waynesville NC, Served in the USMC during Vietnam. Purchased a 69 Mach 1 off the showroom floor. having owned 3 mustangs and 4 miatas he has returned to the mustang family with a 05 Red mustang GT Convertible

After graduating College and moving to Asheville worked with APD for 7 years and retired from State of NC after 27 years in 2012 as a chief probation officer. Worked for Buncombe County Sheriffs office for 7 years before retiring in 2019. 2008 Roush stage 1 and 1967 GTA
